Ryan Ferguson needs your help.
He and Azum Ahmed of the New York Times started a project several years ago looking to create a documentary showcasing the inner-city skateboard culture, finally deciding to hone in on one invidual, Leo Castillo.
Coming out of Little Village, Leo used skateboarding to avoid the problems surrounding himself and his neighborhood, before getting shot on his Mom’s porch by a stray bullet and having to deal with his new way of life. The result of 100’s of hours of filming this story is “Skate Or Die” a potential film that I think deserves a chance to be seen by the world …. But in order for this film to happen they need your pledge HERE to help fund the project
