PHOTOGRAPHER FEATURE – KAT REYNOLDS

Kat Reynolds

2.      Where are you from?

I am from Saint Louis, MO

3.      Did you go to school for photography or have any formal training?

I actually have a B.A in Dance with an emphasis in Modern dance

4.      What program to you use to edit your photos, did you get formal training or self taught?

 I use Lightroom to edit my pictures and I took a couple film photography classes in high school and college 

5.      How long have you been taking pictures or pursuing this as a career?

I have been pursuing photography as a career for about 2 years now, I started while I was studying abroad in Austria

6.      Do you have a favorite photographer?

Recently I have been really digging the work by Amaal Said, her use of color and interesting angles are really captivating

7.      What camera do you use?

8.      Do you have a favorite camera and lens?

Yeah I love my N65 with the kit lens it came with, I just love how effortless and natural the camera is to use.

9.      Future projects we should look out for?

 Right now I have been working a lot with portraits of people that reside in my neighborhood back in Saint Louis and I may be making that into a series soon.
