These past couple of nights have been remarkably busy here in Chicago as we were nearing the beginning of the annual Lollapalooza weekend; Amongst the pre-Lolla parties, Art Alliance brought world renowned contemporary street artist, Shepard Fairey, for a curated pop-up art gallery titled The Provocateurs; A weekend long exhibition at Block 37 to coincide with Fairey’s release of his limited edition Hennessy V.S. bottle. The gallery is jam packed with heavy hitters from the street art realm like Cope2, D*FACE, Retna, Revok, Swoon; and also featured Chicago’s very own POSE and Dzine. After the Art Alliance event, there was the Hip Hop for a Cause 2 music event at Reggie’s that featured our very own Saint Millie and the homie Cadillac Duke. All proceeds of the event went towards scholarships for the Rock for Kids music program. Check out our photo recap of the events after the jump.
