Summers in Chicago can be super eventful. There’s always multiple things going on in one night, it’s probably because everyone has been cooped up all winter, that when it’s finally nice, all of Chicago seems to want to host multiple events in one night, lol. The secret is you kinda have to pick and choose what to attend and where to go. I’ve been learning how to event hop a lot more this summer, lol, a new special skill, haha. On this night, there were 3 different events I got invited to, but only made 2 of them. This was the main one I wanted to attend and spend more time at, so I have a lot more pics of it. So a little about this event. I guess there was going to be a total of 8 Artists, 2 Teams, and 1 winner. The BucketFeet X Secret Walls Art Battle featured artists from around the country. One team consisted of Tubsz, Revise (Chicago), JC Rivera (Chicago), and Topo. The other team was Mosher, Nina Palomba, Sentrock, and Upendo. I think the crowd was the judge, but not 100 percent sure because I had to leave before the battle ended, but I think JC Riveras team won.

More familiar faces, Mike Kholar (Soundscape Studios/Closed Sessions) with his new artist, Kweku Collins. I saw a lot of homies at this event, but I kept forgetting to take pictures of them because I was to busy getting my drink on, lol. No, not really, I was just busy catching up with them, that I would forget to take a pic, treated, lol.
The other event I attended was another art show sponsored by Vitamin Water at Lacuna Lofts, I got there towards the end so I didn’t get a chance to take any pictures, but still a good time.
