The homie SOLO literally got busy, getting up this mural(s), for a new sushi bar located in the River North Area called Union Sushi + Barbeque. This is definitely some ill shit. I would def go cause I fu@ks with Sushi and of course love graffiti. Words by Solo and more flicks of the restaraunt at the jump off.
In November, I was approached to create a graffiti-style interior design/mural for a new sushi + barbeque restaurant opening in May of 2011 in Chicago’s River North Area.
It was to be graffiti with a touch of ‘street art’ and a subtle blending of japanese motifs. The final result was a rare blend of these, mixed with my own brand of contemporary graffiti.
Coupled with the incredible decor of the restaurant, I feel this is one of Chicago’s most unique and interesting late night places to dine and drink.
